El Paso TX (April 6, 2020) In its 168-history, Wells Fargo has built a legacy of serving and supporting those in need in the United States.  Wells Fargo has donated $25,000 to El Paso Children's Hospital Foundation toward the purchase of bronchoscopes to test the lungs of children who are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.

"It is important in times of community need that we all work together," said Jerry Romero, Wells Fargo Community Relations Leader. "The El Paso Children's Hospital Foundation is providing critical care on the front lines of this pandemic, and we're grateful for their ability to act quickly in caring for our local residents.”

“We hope our support provides a measure of relief as we stand with the community during this challenging situation," added Amber Mace, Wells Fargo Community Relations Leader.

"Our foundations are working hard during this crisis to generate donations so our team can continue to provide the best care for children locally,” said Cindy Stout, President and CEO of El Paso Children’s Hospital. “We are grateful to Wells Fargo who donated a significant amount of funds for much needed bronchoscope equipment, a tool that will be used by our pulmonology team in the endoscopy lab to evaluate patient's lungs.”

“The concern and caring from businesses integral to our community such as Wells Fargo is an example of what it means to be El Paso Strong,” said Estela Casas, Executive Director, El Paso Children’s Hospital and UMC Foundation.  “Thank you, Wells Fargo for being a fighter for community health.”
