MVT’s 10th Annual Pay It Forward Golf Tournament Raises $200,000 for Local Children

Ten years of coming together. Ten years of giving back. Ten years of Paying It Forward.

MVT marked a decade of community impact during its 10th Annual Pay It Forward Golf Tournament, held September 25 at Red Hawk Golf Club. The milestone event raised $200,000 in support of El Paso Children’s Hospital Foundation and Children’s Miracle Network.

The tournament brought together MVT employees, drivers, customers, sponsors, golfers and community partners for a day dedicated to creating a meaningful difference for children and families throughout the Borderland.

“MVT was built right here in this community, and for more than 40 years, our employees, drivers, customers and the people of this community have helped us grow into the company we are today,” said Royal Jones, President and CEO of MVT. “I’ve always believed in taking care of the people who take care of you. This tournament is an opportunity for all of us at MVT to Pay It Forward and help children and families right here in our community through Children’s Miracle Network and the El Paso Children’s Hospital Foundation.”

For the past 10 years, the Pay It Forward Golf Tournament has represented more than a day on the golf course. It has become a tradition of generosity, partnership and community support. This year’s $200,000 fundraising total demonstrates what can be accomplished when individuals and organizations unite behind a shared purpose.

Funds raised through the tournament will help El Paso Children’s Hospital Foundation support programs, services and resources that enhance pediatric healthcare at El Paso Children’s Hospital. As the region’s Children’s Miracle Network hospital, El Paso Children’s Hospital provides specialized care for children and families close to home.

El Paso Children’s Hospital Foundation extends its gratitude to MVT, the tournament organizers, sponsors, participants and volunteers who made this milestone possible. Their dedication and generosity will create an impact that reaches far beyond the course and helps strengthen pediatric healthcare for children throughout the region.
