At El Paso Children’s Hospital Foundation, we believe healing goes beyond medicine. That’s why we proudly fund the Child Life Specialist Program. A vital service that provides emotional, developmental, and social support to children and families during hospitalization.

With Foundation support, the program offers:

• Therapeutic play and art
• Medical preparation and procedure support
• Sibling and family interventions
• Resources to ease anxiety and promote understanding
• Comfort and connection through creative expression

These services are offered hospital-wide, including in the PICU, General Medicine/Surgery, and Hematology/Oncology units.
